The BIPOC Massage Fund is a mutual aid fund at Good Moon that provides healing bodywork to those that would otherwise be unable to access due to the effects of systemic racism. 

With every client's purchase, 5% goes into the fund, helping BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) receive treatment. Separate donations are also incredibly welcomed and will bolster the fund outside of regular clientele, ensuring the health and longevity of this crucial health initiative.

    For those needing healing bodywork that identify as Black, Brown, Indigenous, or otherwise a person of Color, this Fund is open to you!

    When booking online, you may be asked to “confirm your appointment" with a bank card. Please ignore the request. In the event of a late cancellation/no show, the fee will be taken from the BIPOC Massage Fund instead and clients who no-show will be waitlisted for 6 months before being able to rebook.

    What can I expect when I arrive for my appointment?

    Throughout your experience, you will be greeted and treated just like any paying client (why?) because your therapist is being paid!

    Do I need to bring anything?

    There is no need to bring any type of documentation to “prove” your need. Just bring yourself and enjoy your treatment.

  • Good Moon Bodywork acknowledges it operates on Turtle Island: European-colonized land stolen from Haudenosaunee people, now known as Buffalo, NY. The following exploitation and marginalization of Indigenous and Black communities in North America became systemized in ways still felt in so many among us today.

    The BIPOC Massage Fund is part of a movement to normalize mutual aid in healthcare, and an effort to show there is enough, if we share.

  • Contributions to the Fund benefit Black, Brown and Indigenous folks from the west side and greater Buffalo area in need of restorative bodywork and calming touch.

    Thanks to donors, consistent care is possible for clients in need.

The BIPOC Massage Fund is on track to deliver ~50 free treatments to Buffalonians in 2026.
